If your site is configured for image viewing, certain documents, called image documents, can be displayed using the Image Viewer. The various parts of the Image Viewer window and toolbar at your site may be slightly different from the description here; however, the features and their functions are essentially the same.
The viewer thumbnail pane (along the left of the window), the image pane (taking up a large portion of the center of the window), and the image button bar (along the bottom of the window) contain a number of helpful, easy-to-use features. These features allow you to view, navigate, and render image documents conveniently and efficiently.
With the Image viewer, you can:
View previews (thumbnails) of the images in the document window
